Alex and all her staff were amazing.nothing was too much trouble. We stayed two nights, the room was lovely and warm, very clean. Lovely homemade shortbread biscuits. The best breakfast we have had staying away from home. And the pot of tea tasted of tea, not like some places. The evening meal was very tasty. Parking on site was a bonus. Will definitely return one day.

We went for a Sunday roast and we were not disappointed. It was probably one of the best roasts I’ve ever had. The beef was so succulent and tasty. All the vegetables were really flavoursome. We ordered cauliflower cheese on the side which was delicious. For dessert I had treacle tart and the pastry was light and crisp, again full of flavour. As well as great food, the service was also impeccable. The manager of the restaurant kindly cleared a neighbouring table and brought my son and his friend some paper and pens for colouring. Thank you Seagrave Arms team, we will be back!

The food was excellent! Absolutely amazing, can't praise it enough, lovely service and so friendly and helpful. If we lived closer we would eat here regularly. Definitely going to be eating and staying again, top marks from us. Xx

Small but perfectly formed menu — every dish was beautifully thought through. I had the vegetarian option (even though I’m not vegetarian) and it was absolutely incredible. The starters were insanely good, and the desserts had some of the best flavours we’ve ever tasted. Alex was the most welcoming hostess and made us (and our two dogs) feel completely at home. A wonderful meal and experience from start to finish.

Exceptional from the welcome to the room we had. Food tops that too with a brilliant chef at the helm and well managed by the owner, Alex. Dan was excellent throughout from check-in to dinner service. This is a place that makes you relax and not worry about the outside world. Well positioned for much of the Cotwolds and not stuffy like a few other places I have stayed in.

A splendid Sunday lunch for grown ups, in warm, pleasingly quiet, log fireplace rooms. Very tasty food, hearty portions, a lovely welcome from the proprietor, and attentive service from the staff. A Previous ‘owner’, from the 1990s, Lord Jamie, a cocker spaniel, would be delighted as were we. Thank you.

Myself and my husband (!!) recently held our wedding celebrations at the Seagrave Arms. We booked all 7 rooms for two nights - for ourselves and our friends and family and we hosted our drinks reception and wedding breakfast in the restaurant. We cannot fault the service we received from Alex and her team. From the moment of booking until the time came to check out as husband and wife, everyone was super friendly and nothing was too much. They welcomed our family and friends and made the whole experience just wonderful. The wedding breakfast was super and the food was absolutely delicious - we received many compliments. Thank you Alex and your team for making our wedding weekend everything we imagined and more. We will certainly be back to pop in for food and reminisce about our perfect day!

Alex and the Seagrave team are amazing. Whether I’m there for a quick drink after a local walk, one of the special events like the pizza nights or there for a private celebration, the service is always top quality yet friendly and personable. The service aside, the food is always cooked to perfection and to have seasonal changing menus means there’s a great variety on offer! I recently hosted a 50 people private event here and everyone raved about the service and delicious food. 100% recommended, for locals and tourists alike!
